Hello! Well, we had another fantastic visit to Florida this past week. The weather was chilly by Florida standards but it was still so great to see Grandma and to have some good family time together without any kind of schedule to get in the way. Seth loved the beach and loved the water and loved anything and everything that was outside. We had to start locking the back door because he figured out how to brace himself against the door frame and get it open... and then he'd try to sneak down to the pool by himself! Here's some fun pictures.
Helping Daddy with the wheelbarrow.
Every day we picked oranges, tangelos, lemons, and/or tangerines in the back yard and squeezed them for fresh juice. Seth LOVED picking fruit!
Grandma and Seth!
Pepper thought it was her business to always lick Seth's face. Since they pretty much stood nose to nose height-wise Seth usually had a mouthful. Usually though he just thought it was funny and giggled or pushed Pepper away. The two got along great all week.
He was so excited to play in his little pool that we filled it with warm water for him and let him play for a while... but it was pretty chilly. Seth just couldn't get enough though!
The next day was closer to 80 degrees and Jordan took Seth out into the pool... or at least "onto" the pool!
Showing off the matchbox cars that he had to bring onto the float with him. Of course one of those cars spent the next few days at the bottom of the deep end!
Yes, the water temperature was only 60!
At the beach. This is Howard Park which is a tiny "island" (that you can drive to) but you could probably walk around the whole thing in less than an hour. Very family friendly and close to Grandma's too.
Seashells and sand are made to be thrown back into the ocean.
Back home and playing with his favorite workbench.
