Welcome to The Austin Resort: Trip to Minnesota and South Dakota- November 2008

Jordan and I took a last minute trip to Minnesota and South Dakota to visit friends and family. We flew into Minneapolis where Diana's Aunt Pam Bromen picked us up from the airport. We visited with the Bromen's, we spent a morning with Diana's college roommate Shawna Daun along with her husband Aaron and son Brody. We drove up to Diana's cousin Sara's house and saw Ross, Sara, Grant, Amanda, and Everitt. We went to church at Grandma Garley's church and went out to breakfast with Diana's Aunt Sue, Uncle John, and cousin Matt. We met up with Matt's wife Lisa and got to meet baby Owen as well as see their new house. Then we drove over to South Dakota and spent some time with Grandma and Grandpa Steen who live in Brandon, South Dakota in a retirement community. Diana's Aunt Marie happened to be visiting as well so we saw her for an evening. The next day uncle Jim drove up and we were able to spend most of the day with him as well! It was pretty amazing to see so many wonderful people in such a short trip. We really felt blessed that everyone's schedules worked out enough for us to enjoy time with them. Seth was a trooper and adapted to sleeping anywhere we put him down for the night. It was a great vacation. Sometimes enjoying the moment means that you forget about taking pictures which was definitely the case on this trip. But there were some pretty special moments that we did capture so I thought I'd share them.

Aunt Marie happened to be visiting Grandma and Grandpa Steen as well! This is probably the first time we'd seen each other in more than 10 years... but this is the best picture I thought to get! Doh!
