Seth's Baptism- September 21st

Grandma Garley (Diana's mother's mother) came out to visit so she could meet Seth and we decided that would be the perfect time to have Seth's baptism. Matt and Stephanie Arveson (Diana's cousins) were Seth's sponsers and brought their little girl Claire up with them as well. After the baptism ceremony our church has a tradition of carrying the baby through the church for everyone to see. During that time Seth was suddenly mesmerized by the ceiling. I think I will always think of that as the time when he saw angels dancing over him.
We were amazed that so many members of our family came out for it! Seth has 7 of his 8 great grandparents and 5 of them were able to make it down for at least some part of the special day. We also had aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbors, and friends who came. We had brunch at our house afterwords and it was really a special day.
